​The I Love Your Locs Learn to Loc Training Course is a unique curriculum that equips students with the essential skills needed to launch and manage their own specialized loc service. The course covers a wide array of topics, ranging from conducting thorough consultations to running business operations with professionalism. Students learn how to effectively analyze the hair grid, part hair, apply locking methods, establish, retighten, and repair locs. Practical sessions involve hands-on training on mannequin heads, as well as opportunities to engage with, observe, and assist real clients at different stages of their loc journey.

The course entails 8 hours of direct instruction, supplemented by 20 hours of shadowing and technique mastery. Students have the chance to schedule their initial consultations, establishment, and retightening sessions at the ILY Locs Salon for on-site learning and support, subject to availability and client participation. Upon completion, students receive the ILY Locs Starter Kit, Certification, and promotional materials to aid in marketing and attracting their first clientele. Furthermore, students can be included in the ILY Locs referral list for prospective clients.

Training sessions are tailored to your availability within a 30-day timeframe, aligning with our locking calendar. Any unused training hours will expire after 30 days from enrollment.
